Loryma Resort

We went as a group of 14. Our apartments were close to each other. Absolutely stunning views. Great pool, separate one for kids. SPA /Hammam was amazing , so relaxing. They also have a gym and free yoga classes on some days. There was a good selection of food for breakfast. Meals at the restaurant were ok. The staff were lovely. The bedrooms have AC. However, the living and dining room was too hot to sit in even with the fans on. Our bathroom was a good sized but my sister had an issue with her bathroom, which had a really bad smell. She reported it several times, but no one came. Overall, I would say we had a lovely time and would definitely go back.

All i will say is don’t book this holiday in this resort you will find a better place and with the money you pay for….unprofessional staff and the rooms was terrible the sink stinks!! No wifi even though it was advertised that it was free across the resort….indoor pool was only paid for because its part of the spa apparently….they talk very rude and the resort is on top of a mountain but it had a lovely view just book else where trust me this place not a place to book!!!

Language is the biggest issue as not many English speaking staff. Also on the last day our flight was at 11.45 pm and we were supposed to leave the hotel at 7 pm. They have not provided any further notice to leave the rooms at 12 pm and then they have not provided alternative accommodation from 12 to 1 pm after having discussion with staff and Tui staff 3.30 pm agreed check out time. No acknowledgement for a birthday trip from the staff.

The look of the locatio is great BUT there is NOTHING close by then run a shuttle 6 times a day where rhe driver doesn't even say anything to you and just grunts when it's time to get off. The man on reception when we arrived told us there was no bed sheets, when our room didn't come with them loads of ants spiders, moths and cockroaches in the room and on the balcony, smell of sewage from the bath room. Also the next day the main women on reception was very rude and not helpful at all. When trying to order a simple pizza ad a sign on reception told us we could til 5pm, we had go go searching for staff,, dining hall was empty zero staff, then we go outside find a worker standing next to the pizza oven, to be told he doesn't take orders, go back to reception told to go to a different location the pool bar, go to the pool bat to be told they don't take food orders, go back to reception to be told its a different location again, go there met with aggressive staff, who I had to tell to calm down and relax as the receptionist probably rang him to tell how to do his job, this must have upset him? Poor booboo and when it did come it was £15 for a 9inch pizza, make of that what you will, remember this is the only food close by. Now when trying to use the indoor pool, I was told it was only open for 10-1 for non spa paying guests and even at that the jacuzzi wasn't on or even have water in it, the steam room was broken but they still charged full price to use it, was made to feel like I shouldn't be there and pestered up selling treatments which are about 300% higher than the local prices, bad selling techniques, trying too tell us there is no hammam that will be bookable from else where (there was cheaper and better options in town)

Loryma Resort Hotel is actually a nice resort, but I have a few things to note: Pros: *Nice clean rooms and layout *It's lovely and serene *It's up on the mountain, which can be good for now because of the views. *It has amazing views of the sea, the mountain landscapes and the towns below, the boats and other activities along the coastline. It's also very beautiful scenery at night * The resort has free yoga classes in the mornings *It's has a spa that you'll need to pay to access; sauna, steam bath, turkish bath, lounge area, spa pool and you can also get all the other stuff you get in a spa like different types of massages, body peels etc. All for a fee, of course. *it has an outdoor pool *Pool bar *Another on-site outdoor bar *indoor gym *indoor ping-pong and snooker tables *Nice dining hall and outdoor dining with great views of the surrounding mountain landscape and ocean *The hotel itself has beautiful greenery adorning its landscape Cons: *Staff don't pick calls *The resort is on a mountain, so be ready for a treacherous and precarious drive. If you as much as stray a few inches to the edge, you're a goner. * The hotel experienced a power outage for like an hour, and then when it eventually came on, it kept fluctuating. The funny bit is that the staff quarters were lit throughout, but they had no backup generator for the hotel guests, which was really poor for a service. I like this hotel and would have liked it more if it was on ground level, but I definitely would not be visiting again because of all the cons.
